We arranged to meet the Blue Sea Villa people at the villa for 1300 – so a gentle bimble for 3 hours along the motorway, joining the Alicante road and then down to Mojacar . . . we’d had an enormous breakfast – eating cakes, coffee, La Mancha sausages, chorizo and migas (a Spanish breadcrumb dish but this was a La Mancha Pastor version with meat in), fruit, cheese, jamon, croissants and even a type of mille feuille! Oink indeed!
But Toby did get a welcome mat (lit.) and a big bag of dog food!
Turn right up the Rambla Campos, left into Calle Jaen and then right into Calle Ronda to No 3 – Casa Rana:
A few days to acclimatise, buy food etc The villa has little in the way of cleaning stuff – like dish cloths, brush and tea towels, so off to Mercadona to shop!
